Our Client is building a team of OSP Engineers for copper/fiber cable field design in optimal locations across South Carolina. Plan and prepare drawings for overhead or underground lines, cables, and conduits to obtain optimum and economical utilization of communications facilities: Analyze traffic loads, and estimate/forecast projected traffic to determine new construction or rearrangements and removals required. Execute cost estimating, splicing sequences, and planning and design loss calculations. Site preparation and permitting - Estimation, cost studies, customer contacts, and negotiating land acquisitions for easements Manual and CAD mapping/drafting - electronic and manual mapping data input for company CMS (Cable Management Service) for some inner/external users to access.
