Forest & Conservation Worker - (Orlando, FL)
FOREST & CONSERVATION WORKER Temporary positions for up to twenty employees beginning about January 2, 2008 ending October 31, 2008. No background required. Activities include: Tree Planting (Production) (Bending, walking, planting seedling in moderate to difficult sloping land, 20%-50% slope) carries seedlings and bag 30-50 lbs with planting shovel or hoedad; Ground preparation as required; Spraying herbicide when needed; Other reforestation activities include thinning trees, bucking and lopping, brush removal, handpiling, fuel reduction, building trails. This can require the use of a chainsaw, carrying oil and fuel which weighs 30 lbs. Transportation provided from central location to work site. Workers must be willing to work at any jobsite as dictated by companys production needs. Worker must be able to handle an arduous work level and be able to work in extreme weather conditions.
