The applicant will handle defense of agency fees of discrimination, lawsuits involving a broad spectrum of employment-related claims, including wage and hour class/collective actions, and advice and counseling involving similar issues. Will provide advice and counsel to employers on a wide range of employment laws and regulations. Effectively and persuasively write briefs and motions for the benefit of the clients. Cultivate productive and effective relationships with clients. Argue decisively at court hearings. Conduct fact gathering and advantageous depositions. Defend properly prepared client representatives at deposition. New York Bar Admission with "active" status is required.
