Accounting Assistant - (Reno, NV)

JOB STATEMENT: Support financial operations by performing various administrative duties in support of the goals and objectives of the accounting department. All activities are to be managed in accordance with GAAP and appropriate internal controls. Strong communications skills are required to enable the Accounting Assistant to effectively communicate with various departmental staff. KEY FUNCTIONS/OBJECTIVES: Key responsibilities include entering customer invoices into the financial system (SAGE 100), entering customer orders into the CRM (Microsoft Dynamics), verification of customer orders using CRM software and processing payments using various payment types. Other responsibilities include updating various payroll spreadsheets, filing and other administrative tasks in support of the accounting department. Position may assist in account reconciliations and resolution of reconciling items in order to verify accuracy and completeness of the general ledger. Perform other assigned duties.
