Assistant Accounting Manager - (Salt Lake City, UT)

Position description Downeast is seeking a motivated individual to work as an Assistant Accounting Manager who will report to the Accounting Manager. This is a full time, benefited, exempt-level position. Our ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, willing to work in a fast-paced environment and to take ownership of assigned work areas. Should have background in various accounting disciplines. Must have background with Excel and other MS business applications. Perfect candidate must be willing to work extended hours as needed to complete projects/monthly close. Main responsibilities: • Preparation of management dashboards • Prepare and analyze balance sheet reconciliations • Prepare monthly Journal Entries • Daily credit card and cash reconciliation • Manage merchant processing relationship • Assist with financial analysis and preparation of financial statements • Assist with inventory processes and reconciliation • Other duties as assigned Requirements: • 2-plus years of accoun
