City Of Woonsocket Water Heavy Equipment Operator Under the direction of the Water Division Superintendent, the person in this position will be responsible for the operation, maintenance and repair of heavy and specialized motor equipment. A high-school certificate or a GED equivalent, is required. Must possess a hoisting engineering license, with 4 (4) years background operating motor equipment; preferably 2 (2) of those years as a light and medium equipment operator. Must possess a Class one Distribution Operator License within 1 (1) year of employment, and posses a Class B valid drivers license and a Hoisting Engineer License within 6 (6) months.
