Senior System Design Engineer - (Troy, MI)

Responsible for developing system technical specifications and qualifications for vehicle functions, documenting vehicle functional and interface qualifications by applying industry and corporate design standards; assisting in defining network interfaces in support of vehicle function development; developing vehicle functions system DFMEAs; interfacing with DREs in support of vehicle function implementation into an Telematics ECU; conducting and attending peer reviews of vehicle functions with colleagues within systems engineering; participating and performing application design and code reviews using systems engineering processes and agile methodologies; discuss the countermeasure among various suppliers and give them suggestions for potential improvements; developing interfaces among the system components to ensure interoperability using in-car validation processes, Automotive Architects, and web and messaging design patterns; developing system level test cases and preparing test data
