The applicant should preferably have 2-5 yrs of background in matters including in 1 or more of the following areas: Stark, Anti-Kickback Statute, False Claims Act, HIPAA, Medicare/Medicaid billing and reimbursement, medical staff matters, physician contracting, compliance issues for healthcare providers, hospital/physician alignment, provider enrollment / licensing, transactional health law issues. Hospital counsel background is preferred. This Louisiana based law firm was formed over 80yrs ago. The practice is a time-honored establishment with over sixty adept lawyers on staff. Some areas of practice include alternative dispute resolution, corporate and intellectual property.
