Position description The Mechanical Assembler II works on a team supporting cabling, equipment, and C5ISR system installations. The Mechanical Assembler II (MAII) is responsible for fabrication and assembly of various electromechanical and electronic assemblies. This position must follow blueprints, guidelines, and/or diagrams to complete tasks. The MAII may perform duties as a fire watch and/or welder's helper; as well as assembling large scale and intricate mechanical assemblies. Installation experience should include: -Moving and un-crating of equipment -Installation of electronic equipment, ducts, cableways, cables, lagging, -Use of power tools -Assembling both large scale and intricate mechanical assemblies -Working with blueprints, assembly drawings and sketches in completing a wide variety of assembly and subassembly tasks. -Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within field.
