DIVISION: Loan Administration DEPARTMENT: Loan Processing POSITION TITLE: Underwriter Specialist I LEVEL: II ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS: REPORTS TO: Loan Processing Supervisor SUPERVISES: None GENERAL FUNCTION: Responsible for processing all owner-occupied residential real estate loans, commercial and consumer loans upon approval of a Loan Officer. Orders and assembles all necessary documentation for loan packages to be compliant with all regulations, policies and procedures. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Demonstrates an aptitude for banking and exhibits proficiency in all areas of loan documentation. Has an inherent duty and responsibility to follow all policies and procedures regarding loan documentation. Assists Lending Officers in processing loans and correspondence. Types loans, title applications, mortgages, UCCs, other supporting documentation and correspondence for all Loan Officers.
