Quality Assurance Specialist (DDM) - (Greater Landover, MD)

Job summary: This position is responsible for ensuring that document quality controls are enforced in support of our customer, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). There are 3 primary functions to which the Quality Assurance Specialists are assigned: Performing quality control checks of scanned photos, performing quality control checks of document metadata entered into the system and serving as a subject matter specialist. While Quality Assurance Specialists may be assigned to perform these primary functions shown above, they will also be cross-trained to perform secondary duties according to business need. Minimum requirements: Bachelor's Degree, preferably in health or science related position AND/OR experience demonstrating an expertise to use scanning equipment, understanding of policy issues, and experience in scanning operations. Must have experience and understanding of document meta-data processes and methods to perform quality control of this meta-data.
