Configuration Management Specialist - San Diego, CA with Security Clearance - (San Diego, CA)

Position description Responsible for configuration control during product development phase. Review design release documents for completeness, proper approvals and system updates, to ensure correct configuration modifications. Review contracts and drafts configuration plans to encompass all specification qualifications. Assist in the maintenance of the data base. May also be responsible for contract data submittal and status on smaller projects. Work with program managers to provide project or program-level support to help ensure schedule and performance parameters of a program are met, using tools like Excel to manage and track details, Ms word to develop contractual deliverable items and other technical documents, and Microsoft power point to develop presentations. Support experts on the program team to complete deliverables and make recommendations for improvements to program leadership to deliver the best support to our customers.
