Job summary The Electronic Technician III works on a team supporting cabling, equipment, and C5ISR system installations. The Electronic Technician III (ETIII) Candidate performs a variety of tasks to include inspection, repairs, installs, modifies, and maintains electrical/electronic systems, circuits, and equipment. The ETIII performs assignments that are not completely standardized or prescribed. Selects or adapts standard procedures or equipment, using fully applicable precedents. Receives initial instructions, equipment qualifications, and advice from supervisor or engineer as needed; performs recurring work unaided; work is reviewed for technical adequacy or conformity with instructions. Installation experience should include the moving and un-crating of equipment, the installation of electronic equipment, ducts, cableways, cables, high density cable connectors, assembling cable harnesses, soldering with low voltage soldering devices, coaxial connectors, waveguide connectors, fiber connectors
