Estimating Manager - Architectural Millwork - (Duluth, GA)

Summary : We are seeking an experienced Estimating Manager to lead our team of Estimators. This position will be responsible developing timely and accurate project cost estimates for projects in excess of $1 million. The Estimating Manager has constant communication with Sales, Manufacturing, and Operations teams. Project costs are determined using project drawings, specifications, and job specific qualifications. This leader will learn, manage and own a detailed bid system along with utilizing a variety of computer software applications to develop the bid and subsequent proposal. Essential Duties & Responsibilities : Develop strategic bids that provide a detailed analysis of costs, alternative materials, potential risks, and recommendations. Provide project cost estimates using industry practices and experiences. Identify, record, and convey project related scope of work and specifications. Identify and document errors, omissions, and ambiguities found in bid documents.
