Overview The Manager of Quality urance and Performance Improvement directs hospital-wide Performance Improvement (PI) activities. Designs and implements programs, policies and practices to ensure that all departments are in compliance with The Joint Commission (TJC) accreditation standards, Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations and all applicable state, federal, and local statutes pertaining to hospital licensing and regulation. Works directly with the Hospital Administrator to ensure compliance between the contract between the hospital and state DHSS for the management of the hospital. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree required in human services, health care, or a related field. Experience: three (3) years of experience in a lead Performance Improvement position in healthcare or a hospital setting is preferred. two (2) years of experience working with TJC or CMS guidelines and standards.
