Medical Malpractice Defense Associate Attorney - (Sacramento, CA)

Sacramento office of our client seeks associate attorney with 2+ years of medical malpractice defense background. The applicant will perform substantive legal functions in client matters such as drafting pleadings, motions and discovery, review medical records, perform legal research, meet with clients and expert witnesses and attend depositions. Will participate in the firm marketing efforts and will be responsible for client development. Should preferably have medical professional, RN, PA or EMT background. Should be a member in good standing with the California State Bar. The principal law office is located in Sacramento, California. Area of concentration is trial law. The firm was founded more than twenty years ago. Nineteen accomplished attorneys are on staff. Some of their practice disciplines consist of medical malpractice defense, medical professional advocacy, elder abuse defense and general civil defense.
