Machine Operator- 1st shift (1267-799) - (Hagerstown, MD)

* Clean and properly maintain the dye range according to standard operating procedure * Properly operate ribbon machinery according to standard operating procedure * Operate and maintain sewing machine as required * Control/eliminate waste of product to produce quality product * Inspect greige goods before dyeing and report defects * Deliver all ribbon samples to the supervisor * Perform all duties so as minimize waste and 2nd quality product * Assist Material Handler on boxing placement and other duties * Transport product to other departments as necessary * Cross train on all machines in order to operate each machine as assigned and back-up other machine operators within the Dyehouse * Assist with other processes as required * Additional duties may be assigned at the discretion of Management Necessary background: * High-school diploma or equivalent * Expertise to read, write and perform basic math functions * Decimals
