Position description: Responsible for the organization, scheduling of staff, and directing of the warehouse on a day-to-day work plan. Adjusts schedules as necessary in both shipping and receiving areas. Responsible for warehouse order accuracy, productivity levels, and facility maintenance. Coordinates warehouse activities and trains warehouse teammates, to ensure well-coordinated shipping and receiving plan. Required responsibilities: Act as team leader and set the tone for cooperation, job performance, compliance with company policies/procedures, and plant safety. Provide assessment and informational updates on worker performance to Director of Operations. Supervise ongoing maintenance and organization in the warehouse. Ensure that all inventory items are properly identified and readily accessible. Supervise and participate in pulling products to fill delivery orders and process related paperwork. Participate in shipping and receiving products. Participate in monthly inventory counts.
