Research Associate CRISPR Tissue Culture Specialist Location: La Jolla, CA Position overview: Volt Workforce Solutions is seeking a research associate to work with a team developing CRISPR/Cas workflows and applications that utilize synthetic RNA guides. Critical responsibilities will be the production and maintenance of mammalian tissue culture cell lines that have been modified using CRISPR/cas techniques. Other responsibilities include sample preparation, data acquisition, and data analysis of modified cell lines and generation of data to support use of synthetic RNAs. Detailed record keeping of all steps in the workflow is imperative. You will be utilizing CRISPR/Cas methodologies to demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of RNA guides and tissue culture techniques with regards to gene editing and genome engineering. You will be responsible for ordering, maintaining, and monitoring an inventory of tissue culture reagents.
