Position DetailsThe department of Pharmacology & Neuroscience at the University of North Texas Health Science Center is seeking to hire a Research Specialist to join our team. Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to: - Set up, operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment, monitor experiments, make observations and calculate and record results. - A BS or MS in a quantitative life science (excluding social sciences) such as chemistry, biology, neuroscience, or similar area. - Laboratory work background in a non-clinical setting (this does not include laboratory course work for a degree program).
