AECOM has an immediate need for a Senior Geologist for our office in Glen Allen, VA Min Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Geology or Hydrogeology 8+ years of background as an environmental consultant, specifically to meet Virginia Department of Environmental Quality (VDEQ) requirements Relevant, recent, direct background negotiating with VDEQ on site assessment strategies and cleanup program objectives Background with 257.100(b)(5) and proficiency in applying to studies, assessments and turn-key consulting evaluations Demonstrated knowledge of Virginia environmental regulatory requirements for contaminated groundwater sites for energy clients Demonstrated understanding of health and safety requirements to work on contaminated land projects Proven work experience working in Virginia for industrial, manufacturing, chemical, or power clients
