The Research Scientist will contribute to the Warfighter Program supporting AFRL/RHA. The Warfighter program provides the Air Force with a broad range of research into advanced technologies to improve training effectiveness. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: The successful applicant will support the development, implementation, and execution of a training research program, assessing human performance and the training effectiveness of multi-device, multi-level fidelity networked simulation systems, address issues related to determining the appropriate knowledge and skills to be trained, and identify alternative training techniques or technologies best suited to enhancing learning in a complex environment. The successful applicant will be able to work efficiently with a multi-disciplinary team of software engineers to identify requirements for research databases, with subject matter experts to identify training system requirements, with military personnel to understand the domain and collect training research data
