Assurant is seeking a Business Unit Compliance Specialist The P&C Claims Compliance Specialist is primarily responsible for the investigation, coordination and timely response of complaints filed against the claims department by regulatory bodies such as departments of insurance (DOI) or an attorney general and consumer services such as the Better Business Bureau (BBB). The position will also assist in analyzing new regulatory qualifications, creating recommendations for required changes, distributing details internally and being a resource for the claims department when reviewing compliance matters. Job duties Investigate and coordinate timely response to regulatory complaints Analyze and communicate impact of new regulatory qualifications Accurate and timely completion and submission of data calls Prompt completion of anti-fraud audits Monitor for adjuster licensing compliance Assist in production of documentation as needed for client audits or state exams
