Project Manager - Mechanical Engineering - (Omaha, NE)

In need of a liaison between Sales, Engineering and Material teams. Is this you? Duties: To be effective you will need to maintain excellent relationships with vendors and operational staff in order to make the sourcing decisions required to keep Engineering activities on track. Research, evaluate, and source vendors for materials. Go on-site to vendors/suppliers and make supplier evaluations and negotiate contracts. Prepares annual forecasts and budgets while working closely with sales and operations. Technical knowledge to play act as a key player in Product Development. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering; Electrical or Mechanical Engineering 5+ years' of background in sourcing and/or planning in a manufacturing environment. APICS Certification strongly preferred You must be a strongly self-motivated and a dedicated career professional Good computer and ERP skills
