Pipe trackhoe operator/excavator (fl-17017) - (Tampa, FL)

Pipe Trackhoe Operator/Excavator Reporting to the Foreman, the Pipe Trackhoe Operator/Excavator is responsible for operating 1 or several types of power construction equipment, such as front end loader, roller, bulldozer, or excavator. Previous experience working with underground pipe (deep sewer, water, storm, etc.) is required. Tasks & Responsibilities The responsibilities of the Excavator/Hoe Operator include, but are not limited to: Equipment Operation Operate the excavator/hoe and other heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner. Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment. Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment, and clean, lubricate and refill equipment as necessary. Work with ground personnel in the excavation and installation process of laying pipe on line and grade. Ensure trench is excavated to the proper depth/grade. Responsible for placement of water, storm and sanitary sewer pipe in the excavation.
