Medical Assistant Job SummaryReports to the Practice Manager and works under the direct super vision of the Physician(s), the Medical Assistant is responsible for ensuring patient preparation and supporting the physician(s) with clinical and office duties.Min QualificationsEducationHigh School certificate or equivalent required completion of a Medical Assistant course preferred.ExperienceTwo to Four Years of relevant work background as a Medical Assistant in an office setting preferred.Licensure and/or CertificationState Certification preferred but not required.SkillsAdvanced proficiency with Ms office applications and moderate keyboarding is required.Knowledge of GE Centricity to access and utilize electronic medical records preferred and Meditech.
