Job details Title: Accounts Receivable Clerk Compensation range: $15.00 - $18.00 (Per hour) Location: Birmingham, Alabama Vaco has been retained by a Birmingham-based company to identify an A/R Clerk to assist their Accounting department. This role will incorporate accounting duties with extensive data-entry. Duties for the Accounts Receivable Clerk: Timely and accurate billing, daily cash collections and postingWork with clients to provide excellent customer serviceWork with clients to provide explanations of fees on accountsMonitor accounts, aging reports, and provide reports to managerPerform the necessary research to follow up on problematic accountsProcess bank deposits, adjustments, and maintain financial records Additional Responsibilities: Completes a high volume of data entry tasks with 100% accuracyWorks efficiently with all office equipmentCorresponds with various departmentsHandles documents and info gathered with high-level of confidentialityProvides support to the Office Coordinator and staff
