Quality Engineer - (Franklin, IN)

Summary Quality Engineer (QE) is a member of Mitsubishi Turbocharger and Engine America, Inc. (MTEA) Quality Assurance (QA) team that drives a plant-wide proactive, zero-defect mindset through robust controls and belief in our QMS process. QE is responsible for managing customer/supplier throughout the product maturity lifecycle. Primary assignments include coordinating product/component development activities ensuring compliance/readiness to customer expectations, managing post-launch quality issues and corrective/preventive actions, and monitoring and improving quality performance. QE works cross-functionally with Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Production, and Purchasing to ensure effective collaboration, communication, and alignment with customers/suppliers are maintained at all times. QE also conducts on-site audits to select/qualify new suppliers, to ensure compliance, and to monitor/control quality performance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
