Concrete finisher - (Pittsburgh, PA)

Description Position duties: Franjo Construction requires fifteen temporary, full time Concrete Finishers from 04/01/2019 to 10/31/2019. Prepare and set concrete forms. Form, smooth, and finish all aspects of building and site concrete; including floors, sidewalks, roadways, steps, and curbs and pavement. Set the forms that hold concrete to the desired pitch and depth, and align them, for both flat and vertical work. Perform rebar tying to reinforce concrete. Finish concrete in exposed or stamped pattern. Smooth, place, pour, and screed concrete. Create concrete finishes using brooms, bull floats, and trowels; and create smooth concrete finishes. Verify elevations, set edge forms, review formwork for line and grade. Prepare foundations of structures for pour. Construct beams, slab on grade, columns and panels for pour. Mold, shape or form wood, metal, composite or plastic forms to pour concrete. Finish surfaces by floating, troweling, and grooving. Apply curing compound and saw cutting as required.
