Louis Berger US has exciting openings in the Hampton Roads and Richmond, VA areas for 3 Part time Monitor/Safety Rest Area Inspection staff that are enthusiastic, detailed oriented and self-motivated to join its Transportation division. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Review and interpret previous inspection reports, plans, blueprints, site layouts, specifications, and construction methods to ensure compliance to legal requirements, performance measures and safety regulations. Inspect work orders, facilities, bridges, highways, embankments, foundations, etc., during and after construction for structural quality, general safety and conformance to specifications and codes. Measure dimensions and verify contractual performance, assets are level, in alignment, and elevation of structures and fixtures to ensure compliance to building plans and codes.
