Nursing Director - (Norwalk, CA)

Position title: Nursing Director Job details: A Registered Nurse with 24 hour responsibility for clinical and administrative management of nursing services for area of responsibility. Participates in establishment and implementation of Hospital and Nursing objectives and policies and procedures. Responsible for Human Resource Management, education and development of staff as well as Performance Improvement, regulatory compliance and budgeting. Supervises all employees within the area of responsibility. Reports to Chief Nursing Officer Essential Job qualifications: * Responsible for maintaining staffing compliance within regulatory qualifications and budget consideration * Responsible for maintaining department Performance Improvement and Quality Plans * Develops, implements and maintains Customer Service Improvement Plan including employee, patients , visitors and physicians * Responsible for assessing educational and skill needs for staff in area of responsibility.
