THIS SUPPLIER QUALITY ENGINEER POSITION IS LOCATED IN WEST POINT, GEORGIA This is a direct hire position for a confidential company in West Point, Georgia Summary: The Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for maintaining plant specific engineering documentation and records to ensure compliance with TS16949 standards and the delivery of product to the Customer which meets specifications. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree 5-7 yrs' background within a manufacturing environment working in Supplier Quality role. Familiarity with lean principles, 6 sigma and Kaizen Must communicate in a professional, accurate, concise, and prompt manner with internal and external customers; must demonstrate good communication to upper management as well. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with constantly changing priorities, all demanding attention to detail, thoroughness, and a high sense of urgency.
