Quality engineer - (Elmira, NY)

Nesco Resource is looking to fill a Quality Engineer position in Elmira NY. This is a Direct-Hire position with our client. Qualifications: ' BS Engineering Preferably Electrical Engineering, if not Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Quality Engineering. ' 3-5 yrs' background, preferably in an Automotive setting. ' Current understanding/background with ISO 9001 and 14001. Internal auditing background a plus. ' Knowledge innerworkings of Electro-Mechanical devises utilizing solenoids a plus. ' Strong current understanding/ background with Corrective Actions, PPAP, APQP, FMEA's, etc. ' Proficient in the use of Ms office, Minitab and Visio. ' Strong issue solving abilities, proficiency in data collection, analysis and presentation. ' Knowledge of SYSPRO ERP a plus. ' Excellent verbal and written correspondence abilities. ' True understanding and appreciation for true Customer Satisfaction of product and service.
