Quality control manager - (Commerce City, CO)

Colorado USDA facility is seeking a Quality Control Manager. Responsibilities: Ensure that the all employees are following guidelines set forth by Dakota Treats Policies and Procedures; including: HACCP, GMP's, SSOP's, BRC audit qualifications and SOP's. Test and inspect product, ingredients, and materials used at all stages of production for conformance to workplace standards. Further development and deployment of quality systems. Oversee the training of plant employees in accordance with the quality, sanitation and HACCP programs. Coordinate with a 3rd party sanitation company and federal inspectors. Track and coordinate nonconformance issues within and between departments. Prepare facility for GFSI certification Background in poultry or other meat plants Bachelor's degree (BA) or equivalent from four-year college or university; 1-3yrs related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and background.
