Mechanical engineer - (Scottsdale, AZ)

This position is responsible for mechanism design, assembly and debug of prototypes, drawing checking, part search and vendor interaction, equipment packaging, as well as assembly fixturing and manufacturing support. Will be expected to take lead roles on development projects. Duties and Responsibilities: *Create mechanical, electro-mechanical and opto-mechanical designs of components and packaging for new products from conception through production *Design from solid modeling through to production prints utilizing Solidworks *Test and develop new mechanical, electro-mechanical and opto-mechanical assemblies *Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited school *3-five years of background in engineering *Excellent analytical abilities and a creative approach for new ideas *Expertise to prioritize tasks and plan effectively *Expertise to work under pressure and meet deadlines *Proficient in Solidworks including sheet metal design tools *Proficient in Word and Ms excel
