Subsystems Lead Engineer for the Stratolaunch Program - (Mojave, CA)

The Subsystems Lead Engineer for the Stratolaunch Program manages the technical performance of the subsystems engineering team to meet the program objectives, satisfying the allocated cost and schedule qualifications. This individual ensures that the team is adhering to sound engineering processes in the development, modification, and test of all aircraft subsystems on an experimental composite aircraft. Duties and Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: ---Maintaining technical authority for all aircraft subsystems ---Providing engineering leadership of subsystem architecture and key subsystem-level trade studies ---Planning all vehicle subsystem modifications ---Assuring appropriate configuration control and documentation of the aircraft subsystems and all related technical content ---Managing the performance of the subsystems engineering team ---Assisting the Program Business Manager with tracking the status of the subsystems - both cost and schedule
