General Manager / Chef Manager - (Durham, NC)
Unit Description Sodexo Corporate Services is looking for a General Manager/Chef Manager to join Sodexo in Durham, NC. The current food landscape at this account consist of 1 corporate cafe and catering operations with a total managed volume of $600k. The General Manager/Chef Manager will be in charge of the operation in addition to being the lead culinary person at the account. The General Manager/Chef Manager must be able to manage food costs, labor costs, as well as understand and be able to make business decisions that allow the unit to meet goals. Other duties include managing a staff of six frontline (hourly) non-union employees, menu planning, ordering, inventory, hands on in the kitchen about 70% of the time, and client and guest interaction.
