Police Officer City of Coralville Police is testing for interested police officer applicants March 16, 2019. Min Requirements for Position: APPLICATION AND EXPERIENCE CHECK FORM must be received prior to published deadline. Forms received after this date, regardless of the postmark, will not be accepted. Be a citizen of the United States and a resident of the State of Iowa or intent to become a resident of Iowa upon being employed. Resident of the City of Coralville or reside within fifteen (15) minutes of driving time of the Coralville city limits. Have reached his/her twenty-1st (21st) birthday prior to date of employment. Have a valid motor vehicle operator's license issued by the State of Iowa. Is able to effectively read, write and speak the English language. Is NOT, by reason of conscience or belief, opposed to the use of force when appropriate or necessary to fulfill his/her duties. Is a high-school graduate or has GED certificate, preferably with 2 or more years of college.
