Firefighter/EMT - (Great Bend, KS)

The City of Great Bend is accepting applications for the position of Firefighter-EMT, or Paramedic. Key responsibilities include fire protection and EMS response/transport. This position mandates a good knowledge of the operation and maintenance of equipment and principles of Fire Science, EMS and department operations. Candidate must possess a high-school certificate or GED and be at least eighteen years of age. Candidate must possess a valid Kansas driver's license and EMT certification prior to hire. We will accept the C.P.A.T. or candidate will be required to take the in-house physical agility and Fire Team testing.
