Staff Accountant, Financial Reporting - (New York, NY)

Performs various financial reporting qualifications and responsibilities, including drafting financial statements and related disclosures for SEC/other periodic filings, performing accounting research, and assisting in other ad hoc projects. Additionally, performs intercompany and consolidation tasks, and assists in preparation of financial statements and related disclosures for statutory filings for international subsidiaries.Critical functions:--- Preparation of financial statements, disclosures, and related supporting schedules in connection with Earnings Release, 10-Q and 10-K filings. Ensuring SEC and other filings are accurately prepared and in compliance with regulatory qualifications. Reviewing accuracy of XBRL tagging.--- Responsible for preparation and/or review of certain sections of the Company's Annual Proxy Statement--- Effectively working and communicating with various departments across the organization, including Finance, Legal, Tax, Treasury, etc.
