Genesis10 is seeking an IP Operations Transport Engineer. This is a direct hire role in Evansville, IN. Job Summary: The primary responsibility of this position will be to provide operational support for a carrier class IP infrastructure deployed throughout a multi-state network. In particular, this position is responsible for design, build, test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify our network infrastructure including facilities, routers and switches by applying principles and theories of engineering mathematics, electronics and electrical testing. This role also requires creating and maintaining all network documentation to reflect the current and planned state of our network. Position details: Telecommunications - Knowledge of transmission, broadcasting, switching, control, and operation of telecommunications systems. Assess existing network needs for new or modified telecommunications systems.
