The Operations Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the Critical Care Transport program assuring departmental policies, procedures, and standards of care are met. The Supervisor will assist in the administration, supervision, and evaluation of patient care and employee performance under the direct supervision of the Manager. Provides daily support and guidance to care givers and customers through continuous contact. Will assist personnel with opportunities for professional growth and development with necessary coaching and mentoring. Participates as directed in WakeMed Health & Hospitals initiatives, public and community relations. Maintains clinical and professional competencies as appropriate to age, developmental and special needs patients and performs duties of a registered nurse or paramedic to include all aspects of the nursing or paramedic care process.
