Dietitian (Assistant Chief, Nutrition) - External - (Brockton, MA)

Functions of the position of Assistant Chief, Nutrition & Food include the following: Management/Administrative - Assists in the establishment of organizational structure guidelines, performance standards, reporting requirements, etc. Coordinates and evaluates Service compliance to assure optimal nutrition care of veterans. Provides oversight in the coordination of menu planning, purchases, production, and delivery of safe, high-quality, nutritionally adequate meals. Confers with section chiefs and assumes full responsibility in the absence os the Chief, N&F. Resource Management - Assists in the development and administration of an HR Management program for all NFS employees that maximizes staff performance and job satisfaction. Coordinates and allocates staffing patterns and position management. Aides in the development and implementation of a budget management program. Assists in the planning the annual budget.
