The Smidt Heart Insute at Cedars-Sinai is looking for a Research ociate II to join the laboratory of Dr. Eduardo Marb n. The Research ociate II will provide technical support related to the preparation and analysis of laboratory specimens and conduct laboratory research under the direct of Dr. Marb n and his research staff studying biological based therapies for cardiac regeneration.Working under direct supervision, the Research ociate II performs routine and increasingly complex laboratory tasks and procedures. The Research ociate II principal duties will include preforming in vivo experiments using mouse/rat models, tissue culture, animal husbandry, immunohistochemistry, microscopy, western blots, keeping notes, ordering reagents and maintaining records.The individual will be expected to function efficiently as an individual and cooperatively with a team of faculty, research scientists and ociates.
