UX Researcher - (Falls Church, VA)

Position: UX Researcher Location: McLean/Vienna, VA Starts: March 2019 Duration: Contract/ possible Full-time Status: Contract/ possible Full-time Rate: DOE A leading client in McLean, VA is looking for a UX Researcher to join their team. This assignment is onsite, 40 hours/week for three months with plans to go full-time. Responsibilities: - Help designers and non-designers understand and apply research findings - Background working with developers at the enterprise level or software teams preferred - Conduct user research at all stages from discovery to validation; quantitative and qualitative research - Guide teams to translate business problems into human-centered problems - Actively monitor and analyze research, data, and trends from internal sources and industry reports to inform and improve our approach Requirements: - 2+ years of background with Human Factors - 5+ years of background as a Design Researcher in a corporate or consulting capacity - Background providing strategy and conducting research
