Correctional Officer - (Quincy, FL)

Job overview: Reports to the designated sergeant. Responsible for the custody and discipline of inmates in the facility in compliance with American Correctional Association (ACA) standards, Management & Training Corporation (MTC), Florida Department of Corrections (FDOC) and Florida Department of Management Services (DMS) directives. Education and Background Qualifications: High-school diploma or equivalent and completion of the basic recruit training course for correctional officers required. Must be eligible for or possess a current employment Certificate of Completion for Correctional Officers meeting the certification standards as established by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. Valid driver's license in the state of Florida with an acceptable driving history required, unless waived by management.
