Engineering Lab Technician - (Ogden, UT)

Job overview Under the supervision of the Engineering Manager and/or the Testing Engineer, assists the engineering team in the testing and verification of new designs, processes, and materials. Responsible for test setup, safely conducting the testing, and for the accuracy of the data collected. Responsible for documenting the testing performed and for effectively communicating the results of the testing. Critical functions * Works with engineering to develop tests and test procedures to verify new designs, processes, and materials. * Conducts assigned testing using laboratory equipment and performs tests and experiments in line with ISO/IEC 17025. * Works with 0-7200 Volt power supply equipment and data acquisition equipment. * Applies proper data acquisition and test equipment to obtain and document test results. Verifies that data and test results are accurate. * Under the direction of the Engineer and the Product Safety Officer, conducts 3rd party testing following 3rd party standards and requirements.
