Co-Op Tooling Engineer Intern - (Rochester, NH)

POSITION OVERVIEW Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of custom fixtures used in the production of composite fan blades and fan cases. Position cycle is 1 year starting immediately. Must be able to commit to at least 6-twelve months ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Aid in the design and implementation of new tools and fixtures used in manufacturing composite parts with Catia V5 R21. Assist with incoming and periodic inspection of fixtures using traditional inspection equipment such as micrometers, indicators, gage blocks and surface plates. Aid in the production of preventative maintenance documentation for new and existing tools. Assist with the purchase of spare parts and components to support preventative maintenance work. Give presentations to management on project status Provide engineering recommendations for process improvements. Analyze and implement those shown to yield positive results.
