Project Application Engineer - (Alexandria, MN)

POSITION DETAILS: The Project Application Engineer assesses machine requirements/specifications, prepares formal quotations, co-ordinates assigned projects and is the customer liaison through machine acceptance. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & Assignments include the following. Other duties may be assigned: Reviews customer's Request for Proposals RFP's (requirements/specifications) to determine if Douglas has the technology and capacity to quote the project. Prepares formal quotations, which include machine, shipping, installation and training. Responsible for reviewing and responding to changes in customer specifications. Resolves issues and concerns in a timely manner. Elevates issues effecting critical milestones to the appropriate management level. Together with the master scheduler and team leaders, creates a formal project schedule. (Schedule will include all key events from machine order through machine acceptance). Facilitates all aspects of the project.
