Aircraft Structures Mechanic 3 - (Norfolk, VA)

Northrop Grumman Technology Services is seeking an experienced Structures Field Technician to support aircraft modifications on E-2 and C-2 aircraft at our Norfolk, VA site, and other domestic, and foreign locations as required. Applicant must be able to perform a variety of operations and become part of a small team of mechanics in order to complete the tasking assigned. Work is done in accordance with established procedures. Applicant must be able to interpret complicated schematics/blueprints, engineering drawings and technical instructions to safely perform sheet metal layout, fabrication, and installation of parts, equipment or fabricated items on aircraft. The duties for the selected applicant will include, but are not limited to performing part-fitting operations such as filing, sawing, burring, crimping, trimming, framing, riveting, drilling, and reaming. Be able to measure parts with micrometers and calipers to verify dimensions and locations to be attached.
